We asked people who knew Carroll Behrhorst or were somehow influenced by him to share their stores.  Over 30 people responded and we began to see six major themes or "ripples:"

1. Trust people to name their needs and resources.
2. Enable people to serve their own communities
3. Promote integrated programs designed for long-term benefits.
4. Train leaders.
5. Value each new generation as an added resource.
6. Come to the Chimaltenango classroom.  Local people are the teachers and Global Partnership is the curriculum.
