MayaWorks gives women an opportunity to earn an income from their skills and gives them self-confidence and hope for themselves, their children, their family and their village.

Wings is a non-profit organization founded by BPD board member, Sue Patterson, which provides knowledge, financial resources and access for the many poor Guatemalan women who want to plan their families.

Miracles in Action helps fund the building of schools, vocational centers, teacher training centers, and water systems in rural Guatemala. Sponsors preschools and scholarships.

Feed the Dream establishes and oversees nutrition programs that provide food, vitamins, health education, hygiene and enrichment to children under 5 years of age and women of reproductive age in impoverished rural Guatemala. They work in partnership with the indigenous and have provided substantial funding to BPD for Strong Families Centers and other nutrition programs.
